GRAND TRIP: MONDAY. PARASAILING. TUBING. AQUARIUM. IMAX. CAMEL BACK RIDING.

On monday after davening in the chabad house in Eilat off we went to a 3 floor yacht where we had breakfast and small seed boats picked us up from the yacht and we did all types of tubing and PARA-SAILING!!! then we went to the coral reef aquarium... went to the imax... and enjoyed pizza for lunch... then we went camel back riding... then off we were to kiryat gat for the banquet!! 

GRAND TRIP: SUNDAY. CHEVRON, IAF MUSEUM, MESADA, YAM HAMELACH AND A GRAND BBQ.

On Sunday we davend shachris in M'oras Hamachpaylah ate breakfast and off we were to the Israeli Air force Museum.. we then went drove to the Mesada and climbed up to the top.. it was hot.. and i was baking... we then went swiming in the Yam hamelach and off we were to Eilat... on the way we stoped for a grand BBQ... finally we arrived in Eilat and as soon as my head hit my pillow i was out.. that was a long exciting day!

GRAND TRIP: MOITZAY SHABBOS. KIRYAT ARBA FOR MAGIC SHOW AND PIZZA!!

Spending shabbos in Chevron was a experience of a life time!!! Friday night we davened outside of M'oras Hamachpaylah because our "dear" cousins had permission to use the entire M'oras Hamachpaylah  being that it was ramadan... after davening we headed to the Gutnik center where we ate seudas shabbis farbrenged and slept after speaking to all the soldiers on the streets of chevron... shabbos morning after mezoines and chassidus we davened shachris and musaf and heard kriyas hatoira in  M'oras Hamachpaylah farbrenged in the Gutnik center... we then had an amazing tour of the city of chevron which we stopped by the shaliachs house Rabbi Danny Cohens house he told us about his shlichus.... Avraham Avinu shul.. Beis Ramano which the Rebbe Rashab bought.. Yeshai and Rus's kever... the trailer shechuna where we heard some words from reb boruch Marzel... we then went to Rebbitzen Menucha Rochels kever... then headed back to  M'oras Hamachpaylah for mincha and maariv... after shabbos we went to kiryat Arba once again using the bulletproof busses... had an amazing magic show in the new chabad house of Rabbi Victor Etiah...the magic show was giving by the shaliach himself!!! some pretty amazing stuff!! he also told us some stories of the chalenges he has on shlichus there... we then headed back to chevron where we enjoyed pizza!!! spoke to all the soldiers on the night shift... and finally went to bed being that we would have to wake up @ 5:45am(!)

GRAND TRIP: FRIDAY. ZIP-LINING.ROPE-COURSE. SWING360. ROCK-CLIMBING. AND BULETPROOF BUSSES TO CHEVRON

After packing up Thursday night and putting all our belongings we wont need till after the banquet onto a bus that would meet us in Kiryat Gat... Friday morning we woke up early got onto the buses and started our drive across country and made our first stop @ Eretz Haiyalim where we ate lunch and went zip-lining rope-course rock climbing and a swing360... then got onto bulletproof buses and headed to chevron where we would spend a awesome shabbos!!!

FRIDAY: WE WENT TO "GAN EIYALIM" WHERE WE WENT ZIP LINING, ROPE COURSE, ROCK CLIMBING ECT... 

SHABBOS: WE SPENT IN CHEVRON DAVENED IN MEAARAS HAMACHPAILAH, FARBRENGED WITH THE SHLIACH RABBI DANNY COHEN. HAD A TOUR OF CHEVRON...

MOITZAY SHABBOS: WE WENT TO KIRYAT ARBA WHERE WE HEARD A STORY FROM THE SHLIACH RABBI VICTOR ETIAH  AND HE PERFORMED ALL DIFFRENT AMAZING TRICKS FOR US... WE THEN HEADED BACK TO CHEVRON HAD PIZZA FOR MELAVA MALKA...

SUNDAY: WE WENT TO THE ISRAELI AIR-FORCE MUSEUM.. CLIMBED THE MASADA.. SWAM IN THE YAM HAMELACH AKA THE DEAD SEA OR THE SALT SEA  HAD A BBQ FOR SUPPER AND  THEN WE DROVE TO EILAT WHERE WE ARE SPENDING THE NIGHT...

WATCHED A VIDEO ABOUT THE LIFE UNDER WATER...HAD PIZZA FOR LUNCH... WE THEN WENT CAMEL BACK RIDING... THE WE DROVE TO KIRYAT GAT AND HAD THE MOST AMAZING BANQUET EVER...

MUSIC DANCING AND A BIRTHDAY

 Last night we were treated to a guest Rabbi which explained to us the art of music and dancing according to chassidus we closed our eyes at times to enjoy the music and see how it can place you into different moods... we then danced for an hour.. then after maariv we had a delicius treat for our dear freind Yitzchk Stock's Birthday.. that was one fun night!

TRIP: JEEPING,WATER-HIKING,GOLAN HEIGHTS,SWIMMING AND A BBQ

 Now that was fun! we went Jeeping round the around the Israeli-Lebanon boarder... the we went on a hike thru the Chatzbani river .. drove to the Golan heights had an amazing view... went swimming.. a BBQ for supper... basically i have a long exciting day fill with allot of fun!! 

HARD WORK PAYS OFF!!

 20 Bochurim that spent their extra time to learning Gemara Makos Baal Peh were treated by Magid Shiur Shmuly Engel which runs the Baal Peh Program to a special trip to the chocolate factory located in the Golan Heights where the got to see how chocolate is made got to taste different flavors and even make their own chocolate..

R' FELLER CAPTIVATES THE BOCHURIM ABOUT 770

Today Rabbi Mendel Feller a shaliach from Minnesota came to the Yeshivas kayitz and told us all about the history of 770 from the purchase continuing with the expansions and what went on in every room of 770 with every office which mazkirim worked where.. i gained a wealth of information and learned new things about 770 that i never knew before. Thank you Rabbi Feller! 

TRIP TO THE OLD CITY OF TZFAS!!

On Hay Av which is the Arizal’s Yartzeit we wnet down to the old city of Tzfas where we had a tour of the city where we saw plenty of shuls from hundreds of years ago… we then went to the candle factory saw how the make havdala candle shabbos candles vechulu… the we went to the bais hachayim said some tehillim by the Reb Yisroel Arye Leib’s Kever (the Rebbes Brother) and the Arizals Kever and the Arizals Mikva … then we had some pizza for supper.. Now that was a fun day!!

"STUMP THE RABBI"

By night seder last week we asked all of our questions about Yiddishkeit and Chassidishkiet to the staff. I now understand so many things i didnt understand till now like why i need to where a hat and jacket when i walk in the street or whats so important to listen to negunim... thank you staff!

EICHA AND "BUCK BUCK"

 After shabbos we changed into non-leather shoes came down to Zal, Davened Maariv and the we read Eicha led by the Head Shaliach to tzfas Rabbi Chaim Kaplan. We then played the traditional Tisha Bav game of "BUCK BUCK". 

COLOR WAR: SCAVENGERS N' THINGS...

 Well i guess i never really told much about this color war.. so ill start from the breakout... on Tuesday being that it was the Ariza"ls Yartzeit we walked down to the Bais hachayim which is in the old city of tzfas we davend at the kever of the Rebbes brother Reb yisroel Aryeh Leib and at the kever of the Arizal then we went to the Arizals Mikva.... on wednesday during sports all the bochurim were called to the dining and they were told to take off their shoes and socks being that there was a foot rash that was spreading to the people of Tzfas that used the Arizal's mikva the day before i was one of the bochurim that were told that i have the rash but dont worry mommy its was just.... COLOR WAR!!! i didn't know the entire time..:) ... The 3 teams were "Darkay Hachasidus" Limud Hachasidus" and Hafotzas Hamayonois".... and what a smashing color war it was!!!

After the grand plays each teams presented some "gramen" to get back the staff...... And then some staff sang a commedy song which got back the bochurim in a funny way...

TRIP TO THE אוצר הסת"ם MUSEUM

On Sunday we hiked down the mountain to visit the Museum of Safrus which was built by the Head Shaliach to Tzfas and our dear camp executive director Rabbi Chaim Kaplan. I had a blast we first heard the history of the building from Rabbi Kaplan then we played a game show answering questions about Tefilin Mezuzois and Sefer Torah, then we watched a 3D video how the parchment is made and how the sofer writes it, i actually got to write some letters by my self with the help of the Sofer on site.

HEAD SHALIACH FARBRENGS

Rabbi Tuvia Teldon the Head shaliach of Long Island NY came to the Yeshivas Kayitz and farbrenged with the bochurim about the importance of using out the summer time to grow in our Yiddishkeit and hiskashrus to the Rebbe especially that we are in Eretz Yisroel where we have special koiches!

B4 THE 9 DAYS...

Yesterday we went to Tveriah and had a awesome time going boating... laser tag... and a BBQ... "Chaping arayin" one last time b4 the 9 days...

YERUSHALAYIM TRIP PART 5. SUNDAY, KOTEL TUNNELS, EER DOVID, BULLET FACTORY, KFAR CHABAD.

 On Sunday we davend shachris by the Kosel and packed up our belongings and enjoyed the tours of the kotel tunnels after that we toured Eer Dovid then we went to the bullet factory in Rechovot that was used in 1948 then we headed to kfar chabad where we got a tour of the Robber leather factory and davend Maariv in 770 and ate supper in the Yeshiva then we finally were on our way back to tzfas... Im sooo glad to be back in my own bed... Ah Guteh Nacht!!

YERUSHALAYIM TRIP PART 4. MOITZAY SHABBOS PIZZA AND THE WALLS

Well after such an amazing shabbos in Yerushalayim where i was able to feel the kedusha and enjoy davening and seder negunim by the Kosel and krias hatoirah atr the Tzemach Tzedek Shul and eating right across the kossel in the Ulom Habar mitzvah and just walking around the streets of the Old city... we got to walk on the walls surrounding Yerushalayim.. oh how can i forget the amazing pizza we had for melaveh malka...

YERUSHALAYIM TRIP PART 3. YAD VASHEM. GEULAH. KEVER ROCHEL. OLD CITY.

After the Bar Kochba caves we then went to Geulah thats a street in yerushalayim... each bochur got 20 shekels to buy a breakfast and i bought so many souvenirs . After that we went onto the busses and we arrived at the  Yad Vashem holocaust museum, sorry i was not allowed to take pics inside the museum... then we went to Kever Rochel said some Tehillim and i Davened or my family.. then we finally arrived at the old city of Yerushalayim to where we would be staying for shabbos.. we got dressed for shabbos and we had a tour of the old city.

YERUSHALAYIM TRIP PART 2. DAVENING N' MEZOINES

After waking up 2:30am Friday we got dressed went to mikva and headed to the buses... 3:30 buses roll.. 3 hours later we arrive by a churba from the times of Rebbi akiva, that's where we daven and have a snack...

YERUSHALAYIM TRIP PART 1 : " I SURVIVED THE BAR KOCHBA TUNNEL"

 Well after shachris in a churba from the times of Rebbi Akiva we headed to the Bar Kochba tunnels and crawled the entire thing... im glad that i made it out :)

 Once again this shabbos after shachris i chazered a Maamer Baal Peh for that, today by lunch we were treated to a Delicious Felafel!!

SHABBOS FARBRENGINS AND PEACE IN ERETZ YISROEL

Last night before we went swimming we were treated to a PowerPoint shiur about the peace treaties in Eretz Yisroel given over by staff member Aryeh Schechter.And tonight we had a PowerPoint shiur about what happened during the Rebbes Farbrengins Given over by Magid Shiur Mendel Jacobs. I gained so much from these shiurim!!

Wow three birthdays... that was allot of cake, and a nice farbrengin....

THE FAST: B4 PIZZA, AFTER BAGELS!!

Shabbos was amazing, again i davend learnt farbrenged and i once again learnt an entire Maamer from the Rebbe Baal Peh. For seder negunim we all walked down from the Yeshivas kayitz grounds to the old city of Tzfas and sang negunim outside the Arizal Shul. Then we went to the Tzemach Tzedek shul and davened maariv and heard havdalah. We then got onto buses and went to the swimming pool. For Melava Malka which was also the meal we had before the fast we had pizza!!and other things the kitchen staff prepared for us it was very yummy. BH now its already after the fast, to break the fast we had bagels, tuna, cream cheese, salads, lox, pasta and cakes and rogulach.... there was sooo much food BH, and now im stuffed... anyway i gotta run to my room its almost lights out i dont want to be late...

SHOPPING FOR SHABBOS!!!!!!

I always wanted to see a superstore in Eretz Yisroel, well this friday i finally gto the chance. Everything was in Hebrew it was pretty cool. But of course we had to be careful with the hechshairim just because it said kosher it didn't mean it was according to our standards...

MERON AND WINERY

After shopping we went to Meron to the Kever of the Rashb"i i now saw where all the thousands of Yidden come every year on Lag Baomer. afterwards we ate lunch and continued on our way to the Galil winery where we saw how wine is made and got to taste some...

GAME-SHOW NIGHT

After supper by night seder we were treated to a special game show called "Iber Chochom". four volunteers were called up to be the contestants, they were asked questions about our Rabbiem.It was ran by Staff member Levi Treitel it was allot of fun!!

TRIP. THIRD STOP - SWIMMING AND BBQ

SPLASH! it was so refreshing to jump into the pool after such a long and exciting day.Then after the swimming i washed negel vasser and got right to the BBQ i had hotdogs burgers shnitzel chicken wings salads ketchup mustard pickles tamatoes potatos and the list goes on... im getting hungry...
I cant wait to get to bed rest up for another smashing day here in Tzfas!!

TRIP. SECOND STOP - LUNCH HIKING AND SNACKS

After The "tractoronim" i was soo hungry. BH they had delicious salami and turky sandwiches waiting for us. Afterwards we went on a hike down a mountain, admiring the beauty of Eretz Hakoidesh,of course i remembered to drink allot of water!Finally at the end of the mountain we had snacks bags packed with a drink peach rogulach and some cookies, that was yummy. then i took my seat on the bus and we departed for part three of our trip today.

TRIP. FIRST STOP - TRACTORONIM!!

What is "Tractoronim"? i wondered. well it was sorta this type of jeep/ATV type of vehicle. it was pretty cool i had lots of fun.I got to go with my best friend and my best staff member agreed to drive my vehicle.We drove all around this mountain and vally over rocks and into potholes,saw some cows and horses.. it was bumpy at times, but it was a BLAST!!!

CELEBRATING YUD BAIS TAMMUZ IN TZFAS

Well the celebration started Monday night, after supper the bochurim went into Zal for night seder. They started learning a part of a Farbrengin of the Rebbe from Yud Bais Tamuz 5745 and afterwards they watched part of it, and answered questions on the sicha.

Then on Tuesday Evening the Bochurim entered the Dining Room for a Special Seudah which continued into a farbrengin. The bochurim heard all about this special YomTov from staff members Shmuel Engel,Mendy Shputz and Mendel Jacobs.

SEDER SICHOS

What is a better way to end off our action packed day then learning a Sicha from Rebbe.So last night after Maariv the zal was packed with bochurim learning a sicha about Yud Bais Tamuz. As a plus the bochurim were treated to delicious Ice's and some crunchy potato chips.

LEAGUES!

It was Sunday afternoon when eight captains with their co captains sat down and drafted bochurim to their team in  this amazing Eretz Hakoidesh league.The team names are Tzfas,Yerushalyim,Chulon,Kfar Chabad,Meron,Lud,Chevron and T'veriah. "These are the fairest teams in all my years in camp." one bochur was overheard saying yesterday!


-We would like to wish all the teams much hatzlacha! cant wait to see you at the championship game.

SWIMMING!!

There is nothing better after some intense league games then to be able to jump in to a cool refreshing pool of water...

Wow what a Shabbos it was, not sure what was the highlight, we Davend, Learnt, sang some Negunim had amazing Farbrengins we even heard some amazing stories of the Rebbe by the Seudas Shabbos from bochurim and Staff!!

Oh and how can I forget, we even learnt an entire Maamer at Chassidus Shabbos morning. And we were told if we learnt it Baal Peh we would receive something special by Sunday Lunch!! It was hard, but do you believe it I learnt the entire Maamer Baal Peh?? I never knew I had such a good memory?!

And you’re wondering what we got for it?  You guessed it! Yes it was PIZZA and it was really worth every slice we got!!!

SPECIAL POWERPOINT SHIUR

Last night by night seder we were treated to a special PowerPoint Shiur presented by Learning Teacher Shimon Galperin, it was about what the Rebbe said about different situations that happened here in Eretz Yisroel and other places as well. And the lessons we learnt from them… 

SECOND DAY, FIRST TRIP.

Wow its 2 days into camp and we already went on a trip!!

"Wheres my water bottles? Sun screen? I need them for the hike!!! "

Climbing down the mountain of Har Arbel was a blast! it got scary at times but hey i survived :). then we went to swim in the Kineret. then we went to Visit the Rambams Kever and even had a siyum there for one sefer of the Yad hachzaka... and how can i forget the experience of a shopping in a Israeli supermarket called Chatzi Chinom!!

After a 12 hour flight and a 3 hour bus ride all the way up to the city of Tzfas, which is located in the north of Eretz Yisroel we arrived to the Yeshivas Kayitz grounds which have breath taking views here on the mountain top of Har Cnaan. 


We all ate a delicious supper of shnitzel and potatoes and salad, went to The Zal to Daven Maariv and hear some rules and find out which rooms we will sleep in for the next 6 weeks!!!!
